Marc Bona is a writer for the Plain Dealer/Cleveland.com, covering sports history, beer, wine, restaurants and other features topics. A graduate of the University of Iowa, he previously worked as a writer and editor at the Post-Tribune (Indiana), the Albany Times-Union, the Detroit News and the San Antonio Light.
He is the author of four books: Joe Thomas: Not Your Average Joe; Hidden History of Cleveland Sports; The Reason We Play; and The Game Changer.
He lives in Akron, Ohio, with his wife, Lynne Sherwin, and rescue dog, Addie.
